Testimonials

Teresa Lietz:
“Two years ago, I started at the C.O.A.C.H. program with my husband and I was using a cane ALL THE TIME.  We transitioned to KCES for walking the track 3 days a week.  I started using the railing without my cane and now I can do 18 laps around the track with no assistance at all!  I can even walk up the stairs.  I am way stronger now and walk normally all the time.  For those of you that think you can’t – YOU CAN!”

Shonu Ghosh:
“I remember the very first time, I was dragged against my will to C.O.A.C.H., climbing up those steps, and I thought, now what? First meeting with Michelle and waiting in that crunchy space, and meeting Anne the first t. It was that formality, the ritualized medical information gathering that assured me that we were not in the wrong place. It was the stethoscope if the connection to my surgery, which made it clear that it was “good for me” or we would have hightailed it out faster than a speeding bullet.

I joined tracks because of their superb confidence arising out their professionalism eased in with respect and comfortable friendship. I took the final step because of the inclusion of Harriette, my wife, and it solidified my decision to join. My friendship grew with some staff but mostly the clients like myself. In days and months our friendship and bond developed and grew: I discovered many people around my age; people growing out of similar ailments; people from similar circumstances in life as well as similar interests.

The most important is the fact that TRACK PLUS C.O.A.C.H. kept me ALIVE! I mean that really, they kept me ALIVE through a low period of my live, through exercise, friendships, encouragement, motivation, and a good reason – keeping my wife together with me in the process ( program). My wife saw the benefits and value of joining the program, as well as remaining for the long haul.”
